Approved Attire

ALL STUDENTS
1. Any color of leotard-we highly recommend that older students wear a sports bra under the leotard
2. Any color of tights-must be run free and not torn;
tights can be footed, conversion or capris
3. Any color of shorts that are not any longer than mid-thigh length-no basketball shorts
4. The appropriate dance shoes that have been
chosen by the instructor for the class-see below
5. Hair is to be secured back away from the face, using bobby pins if needed; please,
no bangs or long strands can be hanging in the face
6. Tutus can be worn in the Kidz and Totz classes-optional

Boys-any class
1. Any color jazz pants, sweats or shorts & any color t-shirt
2. Appropriate dance shoes that have been chosen by the instructor for the class

Competition group footwear might vary from class footwear that is shown below

*Tap~
Seniorz & Intermediates: black leather 1 1/2" heel tap shoes
Starz: black patent tap shoes with ribbon ties

*Jazz, Musical Theater, Modern and Acrobatics~ black split-sole tie jazz oxfords

*Ballet~ pink leather ballet shoes

*Hip Hop~ black hip-hop sneakers & black knee pads

*Pointe~ pointe shoes & pink split-sole ballet shoes

Kidz & Totz Combo: black patent tap shoes with elastic ties; ties will need to be purchased separately
and pink leather ballet shoes

PLEASE NOTE: STUDENTS WHO ARE NOT DRESSED PROPERLY OR DO NOT HAVE THE
CORRECT DANCE SHOES WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN CLASS

OTHER DRESS REQUIREMENTS
*Students are required to wear clothing that covers
their leotard & tights when entering and leaving the studio
* Once inside the classroom, the following are NOT allowed to be worn during class:
• Jewelry of any kind except stud earrings
• Long pants of any kind
• Jackets
• Skirts
• Tank Tops or any other tops over leotard
• Shirts or sweatshirts
